The Mission for ActionAging.com is simple.  We seek an Age Friendly America. 

An Age Friendly America is a nation in which the elderly continue to contribute to the societal fabric as full citizens, respected both for their individuality and for their experience.  It is an America in which those who are hampered by the inroads of age or disability are treated with dignity and allowed the maximum among of self-determination consistent with their welfare.

No one should be diminished in their self-determination merely because they are visibly older nor because they have taken up residence in a communal setting.

In an Age Friendly America all citizens have a right, an expectation, and a reality of lifelong dignity and acceptance as full participants in the nation and in the communities where they reside.
